We focus on enhancing the platform's cloud-native capabilities to ensure these applications are reliable, efficient, scalable and secure.

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Support Engineer to join us. You'll be a key contributor, helping e Bay developers adopt cloud-native applications on our platform. This requires a deep understanding of our core cloud technology and custom functionalities. You will drive the adoption of cloud-native principles, focusing on improving developer productivity through CI/CD automation and ensuring security compliance. We're looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud support within a large-scale environment.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Enable e Bay native cloud adoption by providing expert support, solutions, and best practices to developers
  • Work collaboratively with cloud engineers to triage and resolve complex system issues
  • Translate user feedback and requirements into actionable improvements for the cloud platform
  • Utilize GenAI to develop tools and automation for cloud administration
  • Champion DevOps culture and principles, prioritizing automation to maintain a high level of reliability and efficiency

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems, with a deep understanding of cloud platforms, schedulers, operating systems, and Kubernetes
  • Proficient in programming with Go, Python, or other relevant languages, with demonstrated experience in building automation tools and solutions using GenAI
  • Expert in troubleshooting and quickly debugging complex issues in distributed systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a high-pressure environment, consistently driving for results
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of DevOps and continuous automation
