Senior Service Now Engineer – San Francisco, CA (Remote)Job Duties: Develop and modify Service Now workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components. Provide configuration and customization including, but not limited to: user interface, workflow administration, reports, data imports, integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations by applying best practices. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing configuration and workflows to develop strategies for improving or further integrations leveraging Service Now. Develop requirements, craft and execute test plans, administer Service Now and serve as tier 2 support. Identify Service Now system deficiencies and recommend solutions. Participate in creating and developing standards, best practices, support guidelines and procedures. Schedule and verify Service Now instance clones. Partner with integrations subject matter expert to use MID servers, web services, email and other relevant technology to integrate tools with the Service Now platform. Research new feature enhancements and functionalities from Service Now. Expand and Implement other Service Now modules catering the entire ESM spectrum. Work from home is permitted 100% of the time from anywhere in the US.

Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time.” Required expertise/knowledge includes: Service Now components such as Service Catalog, Change Management, Incident Management, Knowledge Management, Workflow Management, Orchestration, etc.; Ability to contribute to and lead projects following Agile methodology; Design and implement of new functionality using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, I Pages, Script Includes, and Access Control Lists using Java Script; Worked on Service Catalog and Request Workflow Design and Configuration; Designing the Content Management System for Various systems which involved layout, UI pages, CSS and service catalog work; Ability to deliver solutions to improve and automate complex and/or critical business processes.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience in Service Now configuration & administration, job offered, or closely related occupation.

In San Francisco metro, the expected salary range for the role is $180,200 - $243,800/year. Several factors are considered to determine starting pay: job/level, location/metropolitan area, skillset, peer compensation.

40 hours/week. If offered employment, must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
