Responsibilities

• Counsel on user 65zz66zl57z75zyiz66zfr2fz87zwz89znuj72kvz71zz83zz89zz68zz69zz83zz66zd20xz79zz69zz89zq8qz66zjocz72zz72zlz89z">Investigate and assess security and privacy incidents, analyze legal responsibilities, and drive legal and regulatory responses

• Provide legal support to Dropbox’s incident response program, which deals with a wide range of business issues beyond security and 71zz89zz86zqz85zz83zsyvz122zz73zz79zz80zcs9xg16z88zz76zqz75zz76z3z66zz86zsz75zz69zs3rz87zz67zz77z3z81zojz68zz86z8z122z">Advise on cross-functional company projects related to data protection, 88z86z86za0dz67zz78zz78zz74zz68zjz80zz71z9iz90z9fgsckkz86zt35qz79zmz84z710pz78zecz65z9a7z68z34z122zd">, and AI and machine learning

• Review new products and features for launch readiness

• Provide sophisticated advice to engineers working on security, threat intelligence, and abuse issues

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience counseling and/or litigating product, security, or data 71zz89zz86zqz85zz83zsyvz122zz73zz79zz80zcs9xg16z88zz76zqz75zz76z3z66zz86zsz75zz69zs3rz87zz67zz77z3z81zojz68zz86z8z122z">Deep expertise in, and demonstrated passion for, technology

• Prior experience supporting SaaS, AI, or other online businesses, either in-house or as outside counsel

• Experience counseling on or managing incident response and/or broader security program matters

• Located in the Pacific Time Zone
