You will also lead the charge in defining governance processes for the next frontier and be the architect of guardrails for commercial data partnerships.
-
The Product/Project Liaison: You have experience in technical project management or product operations. You are familiar with the work engineers do as much as you are with the language end-users need. You will move AI from "idea" to "workflow" by leading Po Cs and document a process so it can be scaled
-
The Change Leader: You are an exceptional communicator, storyteller, or trainer. You can take a complex concept like "Agentic AI" and make it exciting and actionable for a non-technical audience. You will drive the "AI IQ" of the enterprise.
-

-
Develop and maintain governance policies and frameworks, including creating policy frameworks for GenAI tool usage that incorporate guardrails, privacy protections, security requirements, and responsible AI principles. You will ensure these frameworks scale as new AI capabilities emerge, including agentic AI use cases.
-
Assess and mitigate AI-related risks by conducting thorough vendor evaluations, performing risk scoring, and recommending mitigation actions based on Dow Jones' AI Risk Matrix. You will collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Cyber Security, and product teams to ensure all GenAI applications meet regulatory and ethical standards.
-
Support the DJ AI Steering Committee by preparing materials, presenting use case requests, providing risk assessments, and ensuring alignment between AI initiatives and business objectives. You will be the bridge between technical teams and executive decision-makers.
-
Drive AI literacy and adoption across Dow Jones through initiatives like the GenAI Odyssey, AI Council/Community meetings, and targeted workshops. You will develop training materials, facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, and act as a trusted advisor to teams implementing GenAI in their workflows.

-
Orchestrate Proof of Concepts (Po Cs) for GenAI tools, working closely with cross-functional teams to test, evaluate, and recommend enterprise tools such as knowledge management platforms, transcription tools, and agentic AI applications. You will measure success through defined metrics including time savings, accuracy, and user adoption.
-
Act as a subject matter expert on GenAI applications, staying current on emerging AI technologies, regulatory developments (such as the EU AI Act), and industry best practices. You will translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for diverse audiences—from newsrooms to executive leadership.
