Job Description:
Dow Jones Energy is seeking a visionary Vice President to lead its energy, chemicals, metals, and fuel supply business across the Middle East & Africa. This is a senior regional leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Dow Jones Energy's commercial strategy in one of the world's most strategically important and geopolitically complex energy markets.
The role is designed for a seasoned energy leader with deep expertise in global commodity markets, pricing and benchmarks, and the evolving energy transition, combined with the executive presence to operate at the highest levels of government, national oil companies, and multinational energy organizations.
Based in Dubai, you will serve as a regional business leader for Dow Jones Energy in the region, with broad accountability across strategy, revenue growth, people leadership, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Through authoritative data, real-time intelligence, and deep market expertise, Dow Jones Energy enables customers to make confident, high-stakes commercial decisions in volatile and fast-evolving markets.

You Will
-
Define and execute the long-term sustainable commercial and growth strategy for Dow Jones Energy across the MEA region, driving revenue growth, market expansion and engagement, aligned with global priorities.

Collaborate with the Consulting function to unlock cross sell opportunities, deepen executive relationships, and drive incremental revenue across the region

Partner closely with global leadership on forecasting, investment planning, and long-term growth initiatives.

Lead, mentor, and scale a multi-country organization of senior managers, sales leaders, and specialists, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and sophisticated consultative selling.

Build leadership capability and develop succession across the region.

Position Dow Jones Energy as a mission-critical market intelligence partner for the region's most influential institutions.

Oversee the integrity of the regional sales pipeline, ensuring world-class CRM hygiene and providing the global executive committee with high-level forecasting and market risk assessments.

Represent Dow Jones Energy with C-suite executives, regulators, ministries, and industry bodies across the MEA region.

Apply deep subject-matter expertise across oil, refined products, chemicals, metals, and energy transition markets to identify emerging opportunities.

Influence global product strategy, pricing, and regional go-to-market decisions, ensuring MEA market needs are reflected in Dow Jones Energy's roadmap.

Operate effectively within a complex global organization, partnering closely with Product, Editorial, Technology, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions.

Orchestrate collaboration between News, Product, and Research teams across Dow Jones to deliver holistic, 360-degree solutions to complex energy conglomerates.

You Have
-
15 years of leadership experience in energy, commodities, metals, energy data/analytics, or adjacent sectors.

Proven success driving regional revenue growth and market expansion across complex, multi-country environments.

Track record of leading senior commercial teams and closing high-value, strategic enterprise agreements.

Deep familiarity with MEA energy markets, regulatory environments, and geopolitical dynamics.

Executive-level credibility with governments, NOCs, and multinational energy leaders.

Strong strategic and commercial judgment.
-
Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
-
Fluency in English required; Arabic strongly preferred.
