About the Role

As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with engineering and robotics leadership to own full-cycle hiring for our robotics and autonomy initiatives, from intake and sourcing strategy through offer close. You will leverage deep market knowledge and talent insights to attract and hire highly specialized candidates, while advising leaders on hiring priorities, role design, and interview strategy. You will also drive interview best practices and inclusive, structured hiring processes to deliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience.

This position requires an uncommon balance of teamwork, dedication, and interpersonal skills. You are expected to have technical literacy to evaluate engineering talent and act as a representative for the Door Dash brand. You will manage a diverse set of roles, maintain a high standard for talent, and drive the recruitment lifecycle to completion.

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting within autonomy, robotics, or a similarly niche engineering field.

  • Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership team

  • A good eye for talent with the ability to efficiently assess and teach others how

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to be in front of internal and external leaders

  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to last-minute change

  • Proficiency sourcing with LinkedIn as well as alternative techniques

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details:

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.

  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.$105,400—$155,000 USD
