About the Team

Door Dash’s Commerce Platform powers merchants with the tools they need to grow and operate their businesses—both in-store and online. Drive On-Demand is a key component of this platform, providing white-label fulfillment solutions for merchants across verticals such as restaurants, grocers, and retailers.

As part of the Commerce Platform Logistics team, we own cost and quality for the Restaurant (Rx) business—ensuring that Door Dash Commerce Platform is the most reliable way for merchants to reach their customers through their first-party channels. This means improving fulfillment quality, reducing operating costs, and building scalable solutions to enhance customer and merchant experiences.

About the Role

At Door Dash, we believe that the reliability and quality of our service is our competitive advantage, and we are looking for a leader who is passionate about building a seamless delivery experience for consumers and merchants. As an Associate, Commerce Platform Logistics, you will play a key role in analyzing, tracking, and improving delivery quality, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify trends, scope impactful initiatives, and support the execution of quality improvement strategies.

Your work will be both strategic and deeply operational. One day, you might be sizing the impact of key product initiatives to support long-term quality improvements. The next day, you could be deep-diving into customer satisfaction (CSAT) data to uncover the root causes of customer pain points and leading an experiment to drive real-world improvements.

As the part of this team, you will:

  • Track and analyze cost and quality metrics across strategic merchants, conducting deep-dives to identify key drivers of quality defects and savings opportunities.

  • Support the development of internal reporting tools to measure and monitor quality improvement efforts.

  • Assist in structuring and executing operational tests to identify solutions for reducing defects like lateness or in-store wait times.

  • Partner with Logistics, Analytics, and Product teams to scope and assess initiatives that can improve the efficiency and quality of the logistics system

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to support initiatives that enhance merchant and customer experience.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own a high growth/ high visible opportunity to lead quality initiatives that address the most unique and challenging questions on the Commerce Platform.

  • Analyze key quality metrics and contribute to defining north star metrics that track performance improvements.

  • Partner with GMs to identify and execute growth strategy through data-driven insights to drive business top line.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, Product, Analytics, Engineering, and Operations) to influence product roadmap on quality-focused features.

  • Run structured experiments and operational tests to uncover the best ways to improve fulfillment quality.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have strong analytical skills and can use data to identify trends, uncover root causes, and drive informed decision-making.

  • You are a strong problem solver and can break down complex problems into actionable steps.

  • You thrive in a cross-functional environment and are comfortable working with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations teams.

  • You are highly detail-oriented and have a strong ability to organize, track, and analyze performance data.

  • You have a bias for action and can operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

  • You are comfortable working with data—SQL experience is a plus but not required.

  • Have 1-3 years of relevant experience in high-growth environments required

  • Bachelor’s degree required
