The IT Lead Procurement Specialist is a senior individual contributor responsible for leading complex sourcing initiatives and delivering strategic value to Domino’s IT function. Reporting to the Director, Technology Procurement, this role leverages deep market expertise, advanced analytical skills, and a strong understanding of technology trends to optimize procurement outcomes, mitigate risk, and support the company’s technology strategy. The Lead Specialist acts as a thought leader and mentor, partnering across functions to implement best-in-class procurement solutions and drive continuous improvement. Working closely with internal functional colleagues and leaders, this role must recognize that spend ownership remains within the function and, as such, must have a strong ability to influence, manage supplier relationships, and secure optimal value to support the company’s IT objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT/Technology trends, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record executing procurement strategies. The role will be part of a team that will manage category spend up to $250M and will collaborate with the Procurement Shared Services team for execution.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is:$95,000 - $120,000, plus bonus eligibility. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience and internal equity.
Location: This is an on-site position based at our Ann Arbor, MI headquarters.
Main responsibilities include:
Strategic Sourcing
- Conduct the procurement sourcing process to develop RFI/RFP events, analyze and summarize RFP response data with consideration for the total cost of ownership, and generate materials for negotiations and presentations
- Lead and support contract negotiations for strategic and complex contracts
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT/Technology services and products, aligning with the company’s IT/Technology goals
- Effectively communicate program details from the top down according to established guidelines, policies, and protocols
- Identify and drive productivity, cost savings, and cost avoidance, and document the value generated from the procurement process.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Suppliers to drive value beyond price, ensuring superior service and competitive terms.
- Ensures compliance to contract management process. Responsible for analyzing various inputs (ranging from cost, quality, support, service) and execute best value sourcing solutions and ensuring they are managed effectively once executed
- Analyze supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Stay informed about IT trends, new technologies, and pricing dynamics to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion suppliers' business reviews, process improvements, and contribute to the development of procurement policies and frameworks. Perform ad-hoc benchmarking analysis of the market for technology products and services, identifying best in class contract structures and pricing.
Leadership & Team Member Management

Partner with IT, finance, legal, and other business stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational objectives Support the Manager, Technology Procurement, in executing strategic objectives and driving value for the IT function. Represent procurement in strategic cross-functional forums and initiatives, influencing outcomes through expertise and credibility.

Demonstrated and sustained ability to create and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT/Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, PMP, ITIL) preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in technology procurement, with demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

In-depth knowledge and experience negotiating contracts for hardware (servers, networking equipment), and licenses (SaaS, HaaS, PaaS, etc). Desired proficiency in digital procurement platforms, data analytics, and benchmarking tools
