About Your Role:

As a Data & Analytics Manager at Dollar Tree’s Corporate Office, you’ll define business needs and use analytics as an enabler to deliver measurable business value. You’ll help shape and optimize next-generation enterprise performance through advanced analytics and data-driven insights. With your leadership, you’ll ensure our analytics capabilities directly inform strategy and execution across multiple business functions.

Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Strategic Data Leadership & Business Partnership

• Convert desired outcomes into value-based business initiatives, linking them to specific analytics and applying interpretation methods to create measurable value

• Define and deploy analytics-led performance management models to inform strategic and operational planning and decision-making

• Architect enterprise-wide data and analytics transformations related to enterprise data management, reporting automation, and data science innovation

• Articulate the business case and value proposition for enterprise data and analytics solutions

Technology, Infrastructure & Data Management

• Organize and analyze Big Data to create shareholder value using technologies such as data lakes, next-gen BI, and enterprise data management systems

• Oversee and maintain organizational database management systems, including SQL Server and Alteryx Server, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance

• Evaluate and adopt advancements in analytics, AI, and emerging digital tools to enhance enterprise-wide performance

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and manage diverse technical teams with varying skill sets and functional expertise

• Encourage creative and innovative thinking from team members, helping them turn ideas into impactful solutions

• Implement structured decision-making methods and execute projects independently to achieve data and analytics goals

Your Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering preferred)

• 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics Transformation, Process Automation, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence

• Proven project management, business, and people development experience

• Working knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools (Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Micro Strategy, Business Objects, etc.)

• Strong understanding of enterprise data tools, analytics technologies, and data visualization practices

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Preferred Requirements

• MBA preferred

• Experience with enterprise data architecture and cloud-based analytics environments

• Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights
