Job Duties and Responsibilities

Echo Star has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer Intern. This position will be located at our office in San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models on a Creo CAD system, generate detailed drawings, perform product testing, build prototypes, generate reports, and give presentations
• Perform thermal and structural simulations using Finite Element Analysis tools

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

• GPA 3.3 or above
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study
• Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026

Skills and Qualifications:

• Created mechanical design using 3D CAD system such as Creo or Solid Works
• Hands-on experience in building prototypes
• Completed coursework in solid mechanics and heat transfer
• Experience and fluency in using Finite Element Analysis tools to perform thermal or structural simulation
• Background in electrical circuit

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $51,000.00/Year - $73,000.00/Year
