OVERVIEW:

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a full-time 1A shift Loss Prevention Group Leader to join our distribution center team in Conklin.
Shifts for the Group Leader positions: 1A:

Sunday - Wednesday 8am - 6: 30pm

Rate: $21.55/hr.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop/Maintain/Execute strong LP teammate training program.

• Initiate/Follow up with open work orders of non functioning equipment.

• Daily status checks with LP Supervisor/LP Manager due review business and any additional needs.

• Opening/Closing of DC facility.

• Must be available to be on call some nights and weekends.

• Must be able to work mandatory overtime dates/ overtime for building project needs.

• Provides professional and courteous assistance to all associates, visitors/vendors, and ensures all guests are properly signed in and appropriate access cards are provided.

• Answers phone calls, collects and distributes messages to appropriate personnel.

• Receive, document, and communicate call off messages to appropriate leadership.

• Assigns audits to LP team, completes assigned audits/observation and tasks by due dates.

• Able to consistently meet assigned goals/metrics.

• Store research requests- Assign, monitor, and ensure investigation entry/completion.

• Assists with metal detector processing and conducts package checks on associates as required.

• Monitor CCTV to ensure all building policies and procedures are being followed.

• Conduct investigations involving theft, violations of policies/procedures, and mis-directed freight investigations.

• Assists Loss Prevention department with ATF firearms traces.

• Utilize Yard Management System / Provide Guard Shack coverage as needed.

• Facilitating building evacuation plans during emergencies.

• Auditing and distributing security supplies to stores.

• Coordinating emergency calls.

• Conduct social engineering awareness drills as assigned.

• Review/Reconcile Inventory Adjustment Detail Report, partner with Operations/Logistics group as needed

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in distribution center/retail

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age

• WMS-Manhattan & PMMS

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Targeted Pay Range: $21.55 - $30.95. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
