We have a fantastic opportunity for a Weekend Shift Electrical Engineer to be based at Diageo Leven!

Salary of £45,253 including shift allowance in addition to a competitive benefits package with pension, shares scheme and bonus.
About the role
As an Electrical Production Engineer, you'll play a vital role within our Packaging Line Craft team, bringing your technical expertise to keep high-speed packaging lines running safely, reliably, and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where your proactive attitude and problem-solving skills will make a real impact on performance, safety, and quality.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure operational excellence by supporting asset care and performing planned and reactive maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement in line performance, safety, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate and mentor operators and team leaders in autonomous maintenance and fixing issues.
• Lead with safety first, working in full compliance with lockout/tagout procedures and electrical standards.
• Contribute to team success through improvement projects, effective shift handovers, and active participation in Tier meetings.

Shifts

As a Weekend Electrical Engineer, you will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.

• Key Skills & Experience- Technical Expertise
• Recognised apprenticeship or HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Systems Knowledge - Comfortable working with SAP and maintenance systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Problem-Solving & Process Improvement - Structured approach to identifying issues and driving efficiency.
• Industry Experience - Ideally FMCG or high-speed manufacturing, with strong understanding of asset care systems and compliance standards.
• Multiskilled Approach
• Electrical core with a willingness to broaden skills and embrace further development.
• Safety & Quality Commitment - Dedicated to maintaining high standards in compliance and operational integrity.
