CEE Supply Chain Strategy and Transformation Manager:

Type of contract**: Fixed-Term contract (18 months, with preferred start date in March)**
Location**: Amsterdam, Budapest or Warsaw**
Applicable to Poland-based only**: if the successful candidate is hired in Poland, this is the salary range we budgeted for the position: PLN Gross Monthly 14.475 to 24.125 (plus bonus and additional compensation elements)**

About the Role:

The CEE Supply Chain Transformation Manager is a high-impact, forward-looking role responsible for shaping and advancing capability, digital maturity, and organizational effectiveness across the end-to-end Supply Chain footprint in the CEE region.

This role plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the CEE region's Supply Chain through capability development, digital acceleration, organisational readiness, operational and business transformation leadership. This is a highly visible role requiring strong partner management, analytical capability, and a proactive approach to navigating complex, fast-evolving initiatives.

The role requires someone who is dynamic, structured, and solution oriented, with the ability to design transformation programs, lead change management with internal and external customers, create clarity, drive alignment, and deliver sustained progress across multiple markets and functions. A strong degree of independence, ownership, and pace is essential.

  • Key responsibilities- Lead the CEE Supply Chain transformation agenda by driving capability development, digital acceleration, and organizational readiness across all markets.
  • Lead design and change management of logistics and supply network transformation across internal and external customers.
  • Design and implement the CEE SC Capability Framework aligned with the global model, including creation of a capability map, assessment tools, and clear career pathways for all SC roles.
  • Partner with Global SC, HR, and CEE leadership to embed the capability framework into talent processes, development discussions, and long-term planning.
  • Act as the CEE Supply Chain Digital Ambassador, identifying and developing AI and digital use cases and enabling automation of manual reporting and analytical processes.
  • Support digital upskilling and adoption across the CEE SC community through training, engagement, and best-practice sharing.
  • Lead CEE SC readiness for the Voyager SAP transformation, ensuring strong governance, clear roles, and rigorous execution of all transition activities.
  • Maintain and manage the CEE SC transformation projects risk register, support mitigation plans, track testing progress, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate communication, status updates, and alignment across markets and functions to ensure full preparedness for Voyager launch.
  • Facilitate cross-market collaboration, capability sharing, transformation routines, and continuous improvement across CEE Supply Chain.
  • Drive a proactive, structured, and solution- oriented approach to all initiatives, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and partner expectations are met.

Interfaces:
This role interacts across the highly complex and diverse CEE organisation, with the following key interfaces:

  • Central Eastern Europe in market Supply Chain teams across multiple countries.
  • Global SC, HR, and central transformation teams
  • CEE functional teams (Commercial, Finance, Planning etc)
  • Digital tools and systems (e.g., SAP, APO, Anaplan, Copilot Studio)

Experience required:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience across end-to-end Supply Chain, Capability Development, Transformation, or Digital/Process Improvement, with special attention on logistics and distributor supply chain management.
  • Proven success delivering complex cross-market or cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working in a multinational matrix environment.
  • Track record of project management, change leadership, or readiness execution.
  • Exposure to digital or AI-enabled transformation initiatives is an advantage.
  • Has developed and successfully implemented strategies.

  • Structured problem-solver with strong analytical and conceptual design skills.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity while keeping teams aligned and accountable.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting or leading cross-market supply chain transformation initiatives within a multinational environment.
  • BSc or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Data Science/Analytics, EconomicsMBA or MSc or equivalent experienceated field. An MBA or MSc in Supply Chain Management, Digital Transformation, or similar would be desirable.
