Role Dimensions:

The Revenue & Growth planning team is accountable for all RGM and GM levers across pack, channel, price and promotion and will use this to orchestrate the business approval of the one commercial plan that drives what we sell and execute. The team will work closely with the marketing, commercial and finance directors to ensure plans are constantly optimized delivering the needs of consumers, customers and Diageo.
The role owns end-to-end Revenue Growth Management for Switzerland and Austria and e Commerce business for DACH region. It is accountable for delivering both top-line and bottom-line growth by identifying performance opportunities and removing barriers. The role partners closely with Commercial, Finance, and Marketing teams to shape category and portfolio strategies aligned with the overall DACH agenda, and works with local teams to implement solutions. It sets best-in-class RGM standards and tracks performance against plan to ensure maximum value creation across all RGM levers. The role reports to the Head of Revenue Growth & Planning.

  • Top Functional Accountabilities- Facilitate the development of one commercial plan to deliver the Country AOP in line with category, portfolio, brand and commercial strategy.
  • Oversee the execution of the one commercial plan and lead the O&R process for your market remit to deliver the AOP across all channels.
  • Measure performance against goals and identify and implement strategies to improve our performance.
  • Partner with the commercial finance, innovation, consumer marketing, shopper marketing and category management to ensure the optimum balance of commercial Trade spend/A&P is allocated to short vs long term growth drivers.
  • Serve as a key expert in price and promotion (return on investment, Mix, Pack Price Architecture). Establish appropriate pack and price architecture for current and emerging channels of trade.
  • Identify revenue and margin expansion opportunities through agreed category sprints and associated analytics, resulting in clear business recommendations.
  • Set the executional standards and partner with commercial directors to embed and complete.
  • Champion a revenue management culture within Diageo DACH by influencing behaviors that drive smarter decisions resulting in sales and margin growth.
