About the role: Please note that this field-based position is responsible for the Eastern part of Switzerland (St. Gallen, Thurgau, Schaffhausen, Winterthur, Appenzell, Liechtenstein, Glarus) and can be based anywhere within this region - preferably in St. Gallen.

  • Role Responsibilities: Distribution and Sales driver execution/activation

  • Focus on the sell-in of Diageo portfolio and brand activations at current, and new business partners

  • Ability to understand customer requirements and match these to specific Diageo propositions

  • Analysing the performance of activations in outlet

  • Being a (sales) professional

  • Seeking new business opportunities in the on-trade in partnership with colleagues

  • Strong ownership of the day-to-day customer relationship efficiency through structured brand/solution sell-in, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills

  • Operational excellence in execution and efficiency

  • Structured, organized, efficient planning, personal ownership, and clear communication skills to internal and external partners

  • Operating with a clear set of priorities, adjusting for opportunities and obstacles

  • Ability and confidence to make the necessary informed recommendations required to ensure activities are effectively delivered and adjusted/course-corrected as required

  • Experience / skills required: If you are looking to start in our commercial organization, this one is for you. Accelerating in this role will open future career opportunities within the company. Of course, you will receive relevant training and mentor to increase your capabilities to help you achieve goals.

  • Professional experience in a commercial role, preferably in FMCG

  • Fluency in German (Swiss German is a plus)

  • University degree or equivalent experience

  • Existing understanding of the spirits market or high interest and passion for our products

  • Structured, take pride in delivering on time and always looking for solutions

  • Great communication skills, open personality, dedicated, a great teammate

  • Driver's license
