Position Summary

Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey-before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.

Work You'll Do

Our team is looking for a detail-oriented MLOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning operations infrastructure and end-to-end data pipelines in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement configurable, scalable, flexible, and portable end-to-end ML pipelines within cloud environments
  • Develop and maintain robust data engineering solutions using advanced Python programming
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, processes, and best practices across data engineering, data management, and solution architecture
  • Manage code repositories and implement version control strategies using Git and GitHub
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights
  • Translate technical requirements into functional specifications and vice versa for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Drive solutions independently from concept through implementation and deployment

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • 2+ years of demonstrated ability to build production-grade data engineering solutions
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with Vertex AI or MLFlow

Preferred

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform services including: Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Big Query, Artifact Registry, Feature Store
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE)
  • Experience with Spark-based technologies (Py Spark, Dataproc, Data Flow)
  • Hands-on experience with Vertex AI Platform and Vertex AI Pipelines
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Knowledge of Snowflake data platform
