Work You’ll Do

  • Integrate data sources into Splunk, ensuring accurate and timely data ingestion, parsing, and normalization. 
  • Develop and maintain custom Splunk apps, add-ons, and knowledge objects (e.g., field extractions, event types, tags, lookups). 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk infrastructure, data onboarding, and search performance. 
  • Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to Splunk development and administration.

Helps manage and protect dynamic attack surfaces and provides rapid crisis and cyber incident response, ensuring clients can be ready for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Ability to travel 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Ability to be onsite once a week.
  • At least 5 years experience in the following:
    • Hands-on experience integrating data sources into Splunk and validating ingestion/parsing outcomes.
    • Experience building Splunk content, including custom apps/add-ons and knowledge objects (field extractions, event types, tags, lookups).
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot Splunk infrastructure, data onboarding, and search performance issues.
    • Strong documentation skills, including creation of clear operational procedures and technical guides.
