Work You’ll Do

As a US Delivery Center Senior Solution Specialist on the team, you will:

• Help consult with clients on the system design of AWS environments
• Install, configure, automate, and monitor various Cloud Platform Services
• Maintain multiple (DevOps) environments based on client requirements
• Assist in system migrations and system upgrades to create and deploy new cloud environments
• Mentor and support junior team members

This opportunity sits within our Deloitte US Delivery Center model, which is dedicated to driving impactful business services. It leverages Deloitte’s scale and talent, as well as a center delivery model to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with standardized processes and procedures to service businesses across Deloitte.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS DevOps, Terraform and automation scripting with Python, Bash, Ansible etc.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future
• Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geohubs (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, or Philadelphia)
• Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

• Cloud native language experience (Lambda, Node.js, Python, Go)
• Advanced understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure services such as VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, ELB, IAM
• System Administration Experience with Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux or Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019/2022
• AWS certifications (associate and professional level), Red Hat Linux system administration and Hashi Corp Terraform certifications are preferrable
• Experience with server hardening for security compliance
• Experience with cloud operations (backup, patching, vulnerability management)
• Experience working with cloud automation and deployment tools (CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, Chef)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, Fargate)
