Advisory Solutions Principal

Help Dell Technologies customize solutions for customers with a role on our Solutions Principal team. On this team, you’ll guide the analysis, design and development of solutions for customers, provide technical support and direction to sales teams in the field and assure the compatibility of these solutions with customer systems and strategic business plans.

What you’ll achieve The Solution Principal role is a strategic, creative, outgoing pre-sales professional with a passion for technology evangelism, sales, and custom solution development. Our Solution Principal lives in the global ecosystem between sales leadership and services delivery as a lead strategic partner. You will be architecting and evangelizing Gen AI technology solutions across multiple sales teams here at Dell Technologies.

You will:

  • Partner with the core sales organizations and leadership to articulate our unique perspective on GTM service solutions and credentialing our delivery capabilities using success stories to meet customer needs.

  • Gather, document, and Architect customer specific scope requirements and expectations for value-based outcomes in coordination with both the Services Sales Executives (SSEs) & Core teams.

  • Collaborate with other Solutions Principals within the Solutioning Team organizations, Delivery and Subject Matter Experts, as well as other business partners to develop solution proposals to satisfy customer specific scope requirements and value-based outcomes.

  • Own & drive transition of customer awarded Statements of Work and expectations to our Delivery Teams, as well as participating during internal project kickoffs.

  • Manage and communicate status on portfolio of assigned sales pursuits in salesforce.com, as well as consistently and effectively managing expectations on what is needed and when a quality work product can be delivered to the customer.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in architecting or supporting solutions across VMware,Red Hat Open Shift, and Microsoft Azure. Additionally. Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD workflows.

  • Engage with customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements related to Private and Hybrid cloud transformation, AI/ML adoption, and infrastructure modernization.

  • Translate customer needs into scalable architectures leveraging Kubernetes, containerization strategies, and Dev Sec Ops best practices.

  • Advise on NVIDIA GPU-accelerated platforms(BCM, NVAIE etc.) for AI/ML workloads in Hybrid and edge environments. Familiarity with NVIDIA platforms, including GPU-based architectures, CUDA, and AI frameworks.

  • Assist in RFP/RFI responses, solution sizing, BOM creation, and solution proposal documentation.

Stay up to date on technology trends in cloud, AI/ML, and edge computing.

Desirable Requirements

  • 15 years of pre-sales support and/or delivery experience in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Comfortable with frequent travel throughout SAEM (South Asia and Emerging Countries) to support sales campaigns, customer briefings, and training. In addition, some of our multi-national customers have operations outside the assigned territory and travel may be required to those locations
