Windows OS Principal Software Engineer

What you’ll achieve As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:

Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments

Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems

Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and devices on the supporting operating system.

Deep understanding of Windows internals, including kernel, services, security features, and system architecture across various hardware platforms.

Proficient in C/C++, with experience in Python, Shell, C#, and Java. Skilled in debugging complex systems and mentoring others in scalable software design.

Hands-on experience with Windows driver development, deployment, and signing processes within Microsoft environments.

Proven ability to manage multiple NPI/sustaining projects across diverse OS, tools, and hardware configurations with agility and adaptability.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, coordinate across stakeholders, and drive effective resolution to ensure successful task completion.

Desirable Requirements:

10+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Programming in C language or Python
