What you’ll achieve

As a DevOps Software Engineer on the TDC Solution team, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software engineering tools and automation supporting Dell’s AI and Solutions hyperconverged infrastructure platform.

You will work closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to translate operational and system needs into clear technical tasks and implementation approaches, and leverage AI‑assisted DevOps tools to improve development efficiency, deployment reliability, and system stability—while building strong DevOps fundamentals and operational judgment.
You will:

  • Dev

Ops Tooling & Automation:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and deployment automation.

  • Support software development teams with reliable, repeatable, and scalable DevOps solutions.

  • AI‑Assisted DevOps Engineering

  • Use AI‑enabled tools to support scripting, configuration, debugging, and operational analysis.

  • Follow established workflows when using tooling or automation, and validate outputs for correctness and reliability.

  • Improve tool‑assisted results under guidance from senior engineers.

  • Problem Solving & Operational Support

  • Troubleshoot DevOps and infrastructure‑related issues and contribute to root cause analysis.

  • Use available monitoring, logging, and AI‑assisted analysis tools to support investigation of system, pipeline, or deployment failures.

  • Collaboration & Learning

  • Work closely with software engineers, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration.

  • Continuously learn DevOps best practices, modern tooling, and AI‑assisted workflows.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience (1+ years).

  • Good coding experience with Python and/or Golang on Unix/Linux/BSD operating systems.

  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

  • Ability to work from defined technical or operational guidance and deliver tasks with acceptable quality.

  • Experience using development tools or automation, including AI‑assisted tools, to support implementation or troubleshooting.

  • Able to execute assigned tasks on time with acceptable quality.

  • Able to work closely with other development teams, testers, and product management in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Able to engage with customers or support teams when needed to resolve production issues.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with containerized orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Open Shift, etc) is a plus

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Kubernetes CKA, CKAD or AWS Certified Developer, are a plus

  • Experience with distributed tracing tools(e.g. Jaeger, Tempo) is a plus

  • Experience with log aggregation tools (e.g. Elasticsearch, Loki) is a plus

  • Experience with IaC tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) is a plus

  • Familiarity with pair programming with AI agents (e.g. Claude Code, Gemini cli) is a plus
