The Manager of the Project Management team for the Central EMEA Region is responsible for ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of Data & AI engagements while owning customer success as well as the delivered-revenue outcomes of the portfolio. This role leads and develops a team of Project Managers, driving excellence in execution, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Through strong governance, risk management, and proactive stakeholder alignment, the Team Lead safeguards delivery quality and accelerates value realization for clients. Ultimately, the Project Manager Lead acts as the operational and financial owner of the delivery organization within the PS CEMEA organization protecting delivered revenue, and ensuring scalable, repeatable, high-quality delivery across all Data & AI engagements.

Lead a high-performing team of Technical Project Managers, ensuring they deliver complex data and AI projects with consistency, predictability, and strong customer outcomes.

Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentorship, and performance management, fostering a high-performance culture centered on customer satisfaction, quality, and predictable delivery outcomes.

Provides leadership and oversight to the Project Management team, ensuring consistent application of delivery standards, methodologies, and best practices across all Data & AI engagements.

Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our project delivery methodology and develop high-quality enablement materials that equip Technical Project Managers to execute engagements consistently, follow best-practice processes, and deliver predictable, repeatable customer value
Business

Holds end-to-end accountability for delivery execution and financial performance, for all Professional Services projects in the region with specific responsibility for achieving delivered-revenue targets and margin expectations.

Drives operational excellence through structured governance, including risk management, stakeholder communication, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate weekly forecasts for regional revenue, margin and TPM utilisation, ensuring TPM resourcing aligns to demand and customer priorities.

Act as the Professional Services executive sponsor for key regional accounts, strengthening senior relationships and accelerating adoption of Databricks.

Provide leadership and escalation support on complex or at-risk projects, aligning TPMs, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive resolutions and successful outcomes.

Partners with Professional Services leadership as well as the Resource Manager and Partner Manager to support capacity planning and readiness for successful delivery.

Work closely with Sales Leaders and Account Executives to ensure seamless collaboration that maximizes customer satisfaction and drives successful adoption, value realization, and sustained $DBU and revenue growth across our customer base.

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage and grow a high-performing team of Technical Project Managers who deliver complex Data & AI solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate brings a blend of delivery excellence, customer-centric leadership, and strong business acumen. Key qualifications include:

Leadership of Technical Delivery Teams: Proven experience managing, developing, and coaching project managers or delivery leads in cloud, data, or AI environments. Strong leadership instincts with the ability to enforce project governance, maintain delivery standards, and hold TPMs accountable for excellence.

Strong Delivery Ownership: Demonstrated ability to drive engagements to successful outcomes meeting customer expectations while achieving revenue, margin, utilisation, and adoption targets. Deep program and service delivery skills able to translate customer outcomes into structured, achievable project plans that the team can execute with discipline.

Expertise in Data & AI Project Lifecycles: Deep understanding of data platform implementations, cloud migrations, analytics programs, and machine learning/AI initiatives.

Exceptional Customer & Stakeholder Management: Skilled at building trusted executive relationships, handling escalations, and guiding customers through complex delivery journeys to ensure satisfaction and long-term success.

Financial & Business Acumen: Experience managing delivery KPIs, forecasting, and supporting business growth through high-quality project execution.

Process & Methodology Excellence: Ability to standardize delivery processes, enhance methodologies, and ensure consistent project practices across the team.

Risk & Dependency Management: Strong capability in navigating multi-workstream projects, resolving issues proactively, and ensuring smooth delivery orchestration.
