As a Sr. Event Marketing Operations Manager at Databricks, reporting to the Director, Event Marketing, you'll collaborate with the corporate event marketing team and partners to drive and support the strategy and execution of our flagship Data + AI Summit Operations.

The impact you will have:

  • Create optimized operations models by analyzing past plans and feedback.

  • Develop a comprehensive operations strategy roadmap with internal and external partners.

  • Manage all program operations communications (project plans, DACI, logistics, briefs, accountability).

  • Implement comprehensive internal and external customer service plans.

  • Utilize best-in-class technology, materials, and systems to elevate program operations.

  • Support the team in exceeding key metrics like registration, attendance, engagement, efficiency, and business impact.

What we look for:

  • 10+ years of event marketing experience, especially in large-scale program operations.

  • Strong project and time management, managing multiple priorities within deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, skilled in leading meetings and discussions.

  • Proficient with Google Suite, MS Excel, Mac, and technology literate.

  • Exceptional customer service for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Metrics-driven, enjoying data analysis from the conference platform to inform future success.

  • Experience with Salesforce, Databricks AIBI, Asana, and Rainfocus.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. $197,500—$276,475 USD

Zone 2 Pay Range

$177,800—$248,900 USD

Zone 3 Pay Range

$167,900—$235,025 USD

Zone 4 Pay Range
