Job Description:

We are hiring for an SE Manager to lead our Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa Key Accounts pre-sales technical team. This role is responsible for leading and managing a go-to-market team of technical specialists, focused on promoting, selling, and providing technical value to clients. You will work in collaboration with Sales, Channel, and Customer Success leadership to drive revenue growth, and ensure customer needs are met. This dynamic and varied customer focused technical position requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the cyber security industry, and a passion for driving technical excellence.

What will I be doing:

  • Leading, inspiring and managing our key accounts pre-sales team in Southern EMEA, providing clear direction, coaching and performance management to maximise their individual and collective potential,
  • Collaborating with sales leadership teams to develop strategies, set targets, and create actionable plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives,
  • Driving sales results by fostering a high-performance culture, monitoring team performance metrics, and implementing strategies to meet or exceed POV and sales targets in the cyber security market,
  • Partnering with our sales and customer success leadership throughout the customer lifecycle providing technical assistance and expertise to drive revenue and retention,
  • Managing performance and talent closely, ensuring that we are taking the necessary actions to attract and retain top talent and manage performance at all levels.

What experience do I need:

  • Experience managing a regional pre-sales technical sales engineering team for a software organisation,
  • Experience in a sales engineer or technical account manager role in Enterprise software or Cyber Security (preferred),
  • Strong knowledge in both on-premise and cloud networking,
  • In-depth and hands-on understanding of cyber security concepts, technologies, and industry trends, including knowledge of various security solutions, email and network infrastructure and threat landscape,
  • Confident, polished communicator with a proven ability to build lasting, critical business relationships,
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing pre-sales / technical teams, with strong coaching and mentoring skills to drive individual and team success,
  • Intimate knowledge of sales methodology and best practice (MEDDPICC or similar highly favoured),
  • Fluency in English is essential.
