The Field Service Engineer I is responsible for* *technical reports, to control the spare parts under their own possession and to request the items necessary to achieve customer satisfaction. The position has a high-impact contribution to the company’s success by providing services to our customer base.

  • This position reports to the Field Service Engineer Supervisor and is part of the Service team located in São Paulo
  • Capital and will be working remotely (field) to cover designated territory.

In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments; support service contracts; assist sales representatives and service team members with system configurations and upgrades; manage spare parts; and provide technical support, including escalation and root-cause analysis.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, represent the company professionally, resolve complaints, uncover customer needs, and actively support and influence Customer NPS and overall satisfaction.

  • Complete service documentation in compliance with policies, receive mentoring to achieve full competency, control expenses, contribute to financial targets, and continuously improve field service processes to maximize performance and uptime.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Education: Technical Degree or bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, Biomedical Systems or related fields **with **active CFT or related.
  • Experience/Skills: Experience working with diagnosing and repairing medical devices, mechanical, electromechanical, electronic equipment and scientific instrument.
  • Language: Technical English (read and write), advanced Brazilian Portuguese

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 80%, frequent overnight travel, must maintain a flexible schedule, often with short notice. International travel will be required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Will be considered as differential:

  • Intermediate Spanish, advanced English, valid Passport and/or USA Visa will be considered differential.
  • Experience as field services at Healthcare business.
