As a **Sales Specialist (d/f/m) – Spatial Biology **you will be responsible for driving sales growth by effectively managing your territory, presenting comprehensive Spatial Biology solutions to customers. Your role involves prospecting, negotiating, and utilizing value selling techniques to address customer needs and ensure competitive quoting.
This position reports to the Market Development Manager and is part of the commercial team in EMEA located in South Germany working remotely to cover DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Manage sales territory effectively, maximizing sales opportunities through prospecting, opportunity development, and negotiation in the Spatial Biology market

Own the sales process and present full solution offerings to customers, demonstrating the value of our comprehensive Spatial Biology solutions through demonstrations and technical expertise

Quote customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring clarity and competitiveness

Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's overall success, including forecasting and funnel management

Utilize value selling techniques to identify and address customer needs
The essential requirements of the job include

Bachelor or more in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent field

Multiple years experience in a Life Science Research environment, with a solid understanding of Spatial Biology workflows

Direct experience working in a lab environment, with a preference for Spatial Biology expertise

Background in science, with experience handling tissue samples and imaging proteomics
-
Proven track record in technical solutions selling experience ideally with capital equipment and consumables, account management, demonstrating the ability to build and sustain customer relationships
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel – 50 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Spatial OMICS, multiplexing experience is a plus
