About the Role

As a Customer Service Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of a 7-person team responsible for the predictive, preventive, and corrective technical monitoring of RADIOMETER instruments within your assigned geographic area. You will work closely with the sales and application team in your region.

This position reports to the Area Service Manager for Northern France and is part of the Service Organization located in Neuilly-Plaisance (93). You will work remotely to cover the Southern ILE-DE-FRANCE area (75, 78, 91, 28, 61).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure on-site maintenance services are performed within the required contractual timeframes and/or in accordance with the applicable after-sales service policy
  • Promote and monitor service contracts and other service offerings
  • Ensure invoices are issued according to the applicable after-sales service policy
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the RADIOMETER-marketed equipment under your responsibility
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to a positive company image
  • Achieve the objectives set by the team leader and management
  • Enter activity-related information into the CRM system according to established procedures
  • Promote services and perform customer follow-up to facilitate invoicing
  • Assure promotion and monitoring of service contracts and other service offerings
  • Provide support to the Hotline team in case of vacations, absences, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Provide backup to other technical support engineers in case of vacations, absences, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Implement internal procedures related to safety

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a technical background
  • Technical training or experience in electronics and/or electrical engineering and/or biology
  • 3 to 5 years of successful experience, ideally in a medical equipment customer service role within healthcare facilities and/or laboratories
  • Computer/network skills
  • Technical English (written, reading, and spoken)

Travel & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20 kgs
