The Corrugator I (Elements) sets-up and operates corrugation machinery, compression machinery, and other production equipment. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Elements Department and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 2:45 PM to 1:15 AM and overtime is routine. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Setup, adjust and operate two of the three corrugator styles (JCEM & AV) and related production operations including compression
• Perform setups on the corrugator without assistance in accordance with PAC's methods and procedures
• Adjust pleat height, blades, feed guides, load material, perform initial dry runs, verify materials and conduct first piece inspection
• Meet acceptable production rates based on pre-established standards while producing products that meet all quality, drawing and routing requirements
• Check first piece and work during operation and adjust to ensure logs/packs are corrugated to specifications
• Recognize detailed quality deficiencies such as looping, over compression, and broken wires
• Correctly complete DIR, material log sheet documentation and all other process documents
• Use the computer terminal to access and enter information and efficiently use the information once accessed
• Work overtime as assigned

Essential Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of complex production experience
• Proficiency using basic shop math including decimals and fractions and US standard measuring system
• Understanding of diameters and radius
• Correct use of basic measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators and scale
• Two years of experience using basic hand tools, interpreting drawings, routings, sketches, and work orders
• Knowledge of when and how to adjust setup during operations
• Prior experience working with and mixing chemicals
• Ability to bend, lift, sit, stand, and twist for long periods of time
• Required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Ability to frequently lift or move 5 to 25 pounds from three to six hours daily or frequently lift or move 30 pounds (weight varies based on product being corrugated from very light weight to heavy weight parts)

Plus Requirements

It would be a plus if you have experience with:

• Performing preventative maintenance
• Following environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals, oils, and solvents

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to bend, lift, stand, sit, and twist for long periods of time
• Required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Ability to work with and mix solvents, oils, and other chemicals
