The In Vitro Diagnostics Sales Area Manager Center Italy for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for creating new customer relationships, as well as strengthening existing ones.

Focused on Central Italy,he/she will use his/her knowledge of the In Vitro Diagnostic industry, influencing skills, and Key Opinions Leaders connections to develop and implement profitable initiatives and expand our IVD business in this area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive and grow sales in the region in full compliance with company policies and values.

  • Analyze market trends and expand commercial opportunities in the region.

  • Define and achieve sales targets, monitoring KPIs and results.

  • Analyze market trends to develop business plans and strategies aimed at increasing sales, market share, and profitability.

  • Manage and develop the customer portfolio within the assigned geographic area.

  • Conduct regular visits to customers and KOLs to strengthen business relations.

  • Coordinate, support, and train the sales network.

  • Manage complex negotiations.

  • Participate in the full sales cycle, collaborating closely with company assets: Tender & Sales Administration, Marketing, Lab Solution, Customer Care.

  • Prepare periodic reports on performance, forecasts, and activities carried out.

The essential requirements for the role include:

  • Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or CTF.

  • Five years of experience in sales of IVD laboratory instruments or in a similar field.

  • Clear understanding of complex tenders in both the public and private sectors.

  • Fluent Italian and excellent English.

  • Strong PC skills and experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce.com.

  • Willingness to travel to visit public and private hospitals and laboratories.
