The Industrial Mechanic Technician assembles machinery to enhance manufacturing operations and reliability. In this role, you’ll ensure the reliability and performance of automated and semi-automated machinery in a continuous production environment, while upholding Environmental Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards. This role collaborates with Production and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement machine improvements.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the Maintenance Team located in Timonium, MD and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair to ensure optimal machine performance including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

• Perform fabrication and machining tasks.

• Execute maintenance work orders and accurately document activities in the CMMS system.

• Set up, calibrate, and test, components and mechanical assemblies using various tools.

• Collaborate daily with Maintenance, Facilities, Operations teams, and contractors to achieve production goals.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or equivalent. 5 years of related maintenance experience.

• Ability to read manuals, technical documents, blueprints, and troubleshooting guides.

• Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform prolonged standing, bending, and climbing.

• The ability to work and communicate in a collaborative team environment.

Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently and stand at machines for entire shift including reaching, bending, squatting and kneeling.

• Mechanical aptitude and basic PC skills with ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Preferred: Hazardous waste handling, industrial/manufacturing experience, electrical work

• Familiarity with injection molding, melt-blowing, processes is a plus. Candidates must be willing to work scheduled hours, including overtime and holidays.

C Shift: Thursday –Saturday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (three 12-hour shifts), plus every Wednesday, 1:00 PM–7:00 PM

The hourly range for this role is $32 - $36 per hour** This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
