The AI ​Software Engineer​ is responsible for building custom applications and tools to achieve business outcomes. They leverage their understanding of technical solutions to optimize processes and improve the organization’s productivity and efficiency

This position reports to the IT department and is part of the Software Engineering team and will be fully remote*.  *

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, code, document and test custom applications and scripts using industry-standard development systems and practices

• Develop, test, and deploy custom Python applications for predictive analytics, process automation, and data-driven decision support

• Integrate AI models with enterprise data sources, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of AI applications prior to release, adhering to best practices for security, compliance, performance, scalability, and user experience

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (scientists, engineers, data analysts) to deliver iand translate them into impactful AI-powered solutions

• Deliver functionality per technical specifications to achieve expected business outcomes

• Work as part of the SCRUM Team to estimate effort and deliver code within the sprint timeframes and commitments

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends (e.g., GenAI, LLMs, vector databases, MLOps)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• 1-2 years of experience in software development

• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Databricks AI Tools and Modeling solutions such as OpenAI, Llama, Claude

• Experience with AI & Data Modeling and delivery tools: Python, R, Containerization

• Demonstrated expertise in Python, including libraries for machine learning, data processing, and automation
