The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting Phenomenex customers in Korean market. This position requires associate to travel to customer sites across an assigned territory providing Technical Sales support which encompasses method development, troubleshooting and training support. You might also be required to work at our collaboration center Lab as & when needed to support investigations and marketing collateral generation. This Job requires the associate to be based in Seoul.

This position reports to the Business Development Manager, South Korea and will be based remotely in Seoul.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:

• Provide comprehensive technical support to ensure customer success with Phenomenex Product Portfolio and consult customers with their chromatography challenges via onsite demos, method development, and troubleshooting.
• Create technical content (Tech Notes, Webinars, Tradeshow Posters, etc.) to showcase Phenomenex products to the customers and present seminars at customer sites
• Collaborate effectively with commercial team and You’ll be measured & rewarded based on Country Sales performance and set growth goals by organization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• B.Sc. in Chemistry, Bio-engineering, mechanical engineering, Pharm, or related field
• Strong expertise in chromatographic consumables solutions, with the ability to consult and support customers in experimental analysis and method development.
• 10 years’ experience of customer-facing technical support analytical method development in chromatographic industry. And effective English communication in technical support and with internation teams.
• Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills as this role will be responsible for managing and executing their own schedule.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel up to 60% domestically.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Chromatographic analysis experience of R&D, QC, or QA in pharma, biopharma and environmental industry.
