The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring shipment goals, business goals, customer requirements and production plans are achieved. The production supervisor will be involved with production planning, maintenance planning to allow for plans and goals to be met. In this role, you will be working with a cross functional group to learn the totality of the business.

This position is part of the Operations Department and will be located in Cortland, NY.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Action plan-problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Metrics reporting and daily management
• Lead a group of associates to achieve business and production goals
• Oversee the direct manufacturing operations in terms of safety, quality, productivity and timely delivery to external customers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 years of work-related experience, an Associates degree with 5 years of related work experience or 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience
• 2+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies
• Detailed working knowledge of Excel
• Potentially up to 10% domestic and/or international travel required

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in a union environment
• Experience with SAP and ADP e Time

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
