The Quality Specialist is responsible for quality control activities related to the receipt of products and the delivery of finished goods to customers. The main responsibilities of this position is to verify and assure that the incoming goods, assemblies and products corresponds to Cytiva specifications and quality standards.

This position reports to the section manager for the Quality & Logistics team and is part of the Custom Engineering department located in Uppsala and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Verify quality of incoming goods, assemblies and products that meet Cytiva quality standards and specifications.
• Verify quality by conducting inspections and collaborating on site at Cytiva suppliers.
• Proactively work to improve quality by collaboration with colleagues within Custom Engineering´s verification and design departments.
• Responsible for ways of working regarding receiving inspections.

Who you are:

• High School education or similar experiences within mechanical or electrical area
• Good knowledge in English and Swedish, written and spoken
• Experiences from design or production of products for the Biopharmaceutical industry
• GMP Knowledge
• Understanding and experiences from Good Documentation Practices.
• Good communication skills and team working skills
