This position is part of the **APAC Commercial Team (SEA region)**located in Korea and will be remote. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and manage assigned accounts strategically in order to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth by researching and understanding territory growth opportunities for developing an effective business plan and sales strategy.
- Acquire new business by prospecting for new accounts, establish good relationships with key clients, and prepare information for all sales activities. Assist in marketing activities planning, participate in assigned exhibitions, and provide quantitative and qualitative feedback. Collect market and competitive landscape intelligence
- Schedule and carry out regular customer visits and KOLs meetings with a strong preference for face-to-face interactions, addressing customer needs, and executing sales strategies through timely follow-up. Builds in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and applies these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, and build an opportunity pipeline
- Maintain regular and informative communications with all other team members, including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, Customer Care etc. Perform duties as assigned.
- Strictly adhere to all company compliance policies and demonstrate behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies and Danaher Core Values.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Master’s degree in a Life Science field or Bachelor’s degree with relevant Life Sciences sales experience
- Minimum five years of prior sales experience in life science reagents/consumables required, preferably in the genomics industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets for at least 3 years in a high-pressure environment.
- Deep understanding of genomics applications
- Outstanding prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation, and closing skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Sales experience and expertise in genomics
- Ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve defined goals
