The Coordinator, Transportation is responsible for the transportation of raw materials and finished goods in/out of our Mexican manufacturing plant to sterilizers and the Cincinnati Distribution Center. The position will also be the point person for all internal stakeholders for setting up shipments.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Logistics & Distribution and is part of the Logistics & Distribution Team located in Cincinnati, Ohio and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate and manage transportation providers to ensure accurate documentation, proper mode selection, and timely movement of raw materials and finished goods across manufacturing, sterilizers, and the distribution center.
- Track and trace all ambient and climate‑controlled shipments, providing proactive visibility and communication to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal departments—including manufacturing, procurement, engineering, DC operations, marketing, and service—regarding shipment planning and execution.
- Support supply chain and logistics optimization efforts, including resolving transportation challenges, improving processes, auditing and approving freight invoices, and managing freight claims.
- Provide comprehensive inbound and outbound shipment management, including scheduling, backorder visibility, and coordination of international purchase orders and carrier pickups.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent industry‑related experience.
- Strong data analysis capability, especially for transportation and logistics visibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic supply chain environment.
- Experience with international shipping and receiving or equivalent exposure to cross‑border logistics processes.
Travel Requirements:
- <5% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations.
- Local travel required between the corporate office and distribution center.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience with freight payment and audit systems.
- ERP systems experience, specifically SAP.

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
