The Director – Markets & Applications is responsible for the overall ownership of global Microelectronics new product development efforts across all product portfolios, including Lithography, Wet Etch Cleans (WEC), Gas applications, CMP, and Ultra-Pure Water (UPW). You will play a leading role in developing the organization's long-term strategy, where we will identify critical initiatives and action plans to achieve strategic targets. In direct coordination with Sales, R&D, Engineering, and Operations, this individual will focus on driving growth and profitability of the Global Microelectronics Product Portfolio. You will oversee the development of technical and product roadmaps and drive the development / launch of new products. Direct reports in this role are subject-matter experts in their respective segments & applications, with a deep understanding of technological trends and innovation needs to meet rapidly changing customer requirements.

This position reports to the VP, Product Management & Strategy and will be located on-site in Port Washington, NY (USA), Zhubei, Taiwan, or Benoi, Singapore.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Leads a team that includes Market & Application Managers, ensuring strong commercial and technical alignment across the portfolio.

• Champions New Product Development and drives the Strategic Innovation Plan, including Technology and Product Roadmap leadership.

• Coordinates closely with the Product Management team to support lifecycle decisions and strategic portfolio priorities.

• Oversees Forecasting and Capacity Planning, ensuring alignment with and impact on Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM).

• Leads ongoing collection of Customer Insights / VOC and translates findings into compelling Value Proposition Development.

• Builds strong partnerships with R&D and Business Development, enabling collaboration on innovation, feasibility, and market expansion.

• Applies Danaher Business System (DBS) continuous improvement tools and remains accountable for business KPIs, including revenue, margin, price performance, and engagement.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Education & Experience: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in semiconductor B2B sales, marketing, product management, technical service, or engineering.

• **Technical & Digital Proficiency: **Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with a strong ability to work across global time zones and under tight timelines.

• Communication Excellence: Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills for effective interaction with customers, co‑workers, and partners across all levels, functions, and regions.

• Leadership, Influence & Collaboration: Possesses the ability to lead, influence, and shape opinions among senior managers, showing a compelling leadership style aligned with Danaher values.

• Adaptability & Results Orientation: Proven capability to deliver results while adapting quickly to shifting priorities and unforeseen challenges.

• **Credibility, Integrity & Executive Presence: **Exhibits the presence and stature needed to generate trust and a positive organizational image, supported by high personal and professional integrity and ethics.

• **Future Leadership Potential & Mobility: **Demonstrates readiness to serve as a successor for larger leadership roles and is able to travel up to 50%, including internationally.

It would be a plus if you also have the following.

• Graduate degree in a technical or business field; MBA preferred, witha minimum of 5 years of marketing/product management experience with global responsibility

• Previous experience and strong understanding of the customer segments and product applications for the business unit’s products (Lithography, WEC, Gas, CMP, UPW), can include integrated device manufacturers/foundries, equipment (OEM), or E-materials

• Knowledge and experience with filtration and purification principles, technologies, and applications

The annual salary range for this role is $170,000 - $210,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
