The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. They also help prepare financial statements, perform account reconciliations, and support audits while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

This position reports to the Sr. Manger of Finance – SOX and Compliance and is part of the Accounting team located in Fargo, ND or Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and perform account reconciliations

• Support financial reporting and analysis

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 0+ years experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while working collaboratively.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. D365, SAP)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
