Role Summary

The Commissioning Engineer – Food & Beverage Systems is responsible for leading the installation, start-up, commissioning, and optimization of Pall Food & Beverage systems at customer sites globally. This role ensures systems meet performance specifications while delivering an exceptional customer experience through technical expertise, training, and hands-on problem solving.

This position reports to the Global Commissioning Leader – Food & Beverage and is part of the Pall F&B Global Systems team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, start-up, and performance optimization of Pall Food & Beverage systems at customer sites worldwide

• Ensure installations comply with technical, safety, and performance specifications

• Deliver hands-on training to customer teams on system operation and maintenance

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to ensure successful system handover

• Partner with engineering, project, and service teams to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Brewing Science, or a related technical discipline

• Several years of hands-on commissioning experience within the Food & Beverage industry

• Strong knowledge of filtration and separation technologies (brewing and protein applications preferred)

• Proven troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and process optimization skills

• Fluency in French and English is mandatory; additional languages are a strong advantage

Travel & Physical Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 80%

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 32 kg (70 lbs)

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Commissioning experience in brewing, dairy, or protein processing environments

• Exposure to multicultural, international project teams

• Familiarity with automation platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider Electric
