As a Sales Specialist (f/m/d) for Cell Health & Centrifugation in South Germany(Freiburg, Konstanz, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Würzburg, Bayreuth, Nuremberg, amongst others), you will be responsible for achieving the sales targets for the Cell Health & Centrifugation Business including the Vi Cell portfolio as well as the Optima, Avanti and Allegra centrifuges (hardware and consumables).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales for cell health & centrifugation products in the territory
  • Understanding customer needs and workflow requirements in biopharma and basic life science research
  • As a sales specialist you develop solutions in a joint effort with a team of experts according to the needs, specifications and requirements entrusted to us by our customers
  • Define and implement sales strategy with multiple decision-makers
  • Conduct sales negotiations
  • Achieve the budget within conditions set by management
  • Reports directly to: Sales Supervisor Beckman Coulter Life Science Cell Health & Centrifugation (Southern Germany)

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in biology, biochemistry, or any similar subject area in the scientific/life science field is required
  • Previous experience within the life science/pharma industry would be a plus
  • Validated knowledge of complex sales processes ideally in a product portfolio of Capital Equipment will be highly appreciated but is not a must. We also want to give people a chance who fit in the team and want to work in this exciting industry environment
  • IT agile: experienced within the standard MS office package, ideally also Sales Force™
  • Fluent German and English are required
