The Senior Product Engineer (Automation) is responsible for advancing operational execution and accelerate growth through engineering projects for high volume Medical Devices across Pall Medical within the guidelines of an ISO13485 and ISO9001 compliant Quality Management System.

This position reports to the Senior Manager Medical Product Engineering and is part of the Pall Medical Product Engineering Team, located in Newquay, Cornwall* *and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Complete projects related to the expansion of high-volume manufacturing lines, including product assembly and mold tool validation.

• Control the management of product life cycle through construction, material and manufacturing process upgrades, VAVE, and continuous improvements.

• Control the transition of NPI/NPD projects from product design freeze to manufacturing at scale.

• As a Subject Matter Expert, carry out relevant documentation approvals for product release, risk assessment and change control, in accordance with Cytiva procedures

• Lead and provide support for problem solving to effectively close performance gaps by getting to the true root cause and implementing effective, sustainable countermeasures

Who you are:* *

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field

• Several years’ experience in Life Science oriented industrial company or similarly regulated industry

• Demonstrated project management skills

• Green belt / 6 sigma certification, or DBS equivalent

• Experience of product lifecycle management within a regulated industry
