The Sr SAP Security and GRC Architect is responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing comprehensive SAP security and GRC solutions that protect enterprise data, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business objectives. This role drives significant impact by enabling secure business operations, mitigating risks, and supporting audit readiness across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work on global SAP transformation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and grow your expertise in both SAP security and GRC domains.

This position is part of the SAP Center of Excellence and will be located in Bengaluru, India. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design, implement, and maintain SAP security architecture, including user provisioning, role management, and authorization concepts across S/4HANA, SAP BWZ, and Fiori.
  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of SAP GRC modules to support compliance and risk management initiatives.
  • Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and remediation activities to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with business process owners, auditors, and IT teams to define and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing evidence, documentation, and expertise on SAP security and GRC controls.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Security and GRC, including hands-on implementation and support.
  • Strong expertise in SAP authorization concepts, role design, and user access management for ECC, S/4HANA, and Fiori.
  • Proven experience with SAP GRC Access Control and Process Control modules, including rule set configuration and SoD analysis.
  • Experience supporting audit and compliance activities (SOX, GDPR, etc.).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • SAP Security and GRC implementation in the Life Sciences or Diagnostics industry
  • Cerrtification in SAP Security or SAP GRC
