The Logistics Specialist and Distribution Planner plays a crucial role in the strategic planning and execution of goods transportation within a dynamic environment, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery. Additionally, this position supports the implementation of intricate operations, focusing on the movement of goods and resources, warehousing and transportation activities, inventory management, order fulfillment, and various related functions.

This position reports to the Logistics and Distribution Lead and will be an on-site role (in Grens, Vaud). At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Primary focus on all activities around Planning of Materials or Finished Goods.

  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team for the smoothest demand and supply planning, a high quality, and a timely availability for the customers.

  • Support all logistics activities in and out of manufacturing site (e.g. Sterilization, Devices, transportation and carriers management).

  • Deliver and exceed the targeted key performance indicators (OTD, ITO).

  • Implement and maintain tools and dashboards for metrics visibility and communication.

  • Monitor the performance with internal and external service providers.

  • Coordinate preventive and corrective action plans.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering or Supply Chain .

  • 5 years of proven experience in Supply Chain, preferably in Logistics, Distribution, or Materials Planning.

  • ERP knowledge, preferably Oracle (EBS and ASCP).

  • Proven ability to work on cross-functional and multi-cultural teams, open-minded, data-driven, customer-centric.

  • Fluent in English and French.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • APICS Certification preferred.
