The Field Service Trainee for Cytiva is part of the India Equipment services organization located in Kolkata and will be a Remote customer facing role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Will accompany the service engineers and help them in pre-installation work, equipment demo & other service activities. This will involve travel within the city and outside as well.
• Will ensure the delivery of operations - installing, troubleshooting, planned maintenance of the various range of Single use and Chromatography Equipment sold by CYTIVA Life Science to the customers in Biopharmaceutical Industries.
• Required to attend independently or with a trained engineer and close the service calls as per CYTIVA Service Quality.
• Support the team in service documentation work & be an active contributor.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology / Instrumentation /Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics/ Electrical & Telecommunications Engineering
• Ability to learn quickly & demonstrate independent working straits
• Interface and gel with both internal team members and external customers.
• Should have knowledge about the basic tools used for service and repairs
• Fluency in English language. Ability to learn the processes in CYTIVA Life Sciences for reporting, escalations, travel.
