The AI Software Engineer, Sr is responsible for building custom applications and tools to achieve business outcomes. They leverage their understanding of technical solutions to optimize

 processes and improve the organizational productivity and efficiency.

This position reports to the Director, AI & Data Engineering and is part of the AI & Data Team located in Bengaluru, India and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop, test, and deploy custom Python applications for predictive analytics, process automation, and data-driven decision support to solve real-world problems in biotech

• Design, implement, and optimize low-level code for training and fine-tuning RAG models using OpenAI LLMs and related frameworks

• Integrate AI models with enterprise data sources, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions

• Design, code, and test custom applications and scripts using industry-standard development systems and practices

• Deliver functionality according to technical specifications to achieve expected business outcomes

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Experience with programming languages: Python ,  JavaScript, Java, C# .NET

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including automated tools for build, test, and deployment (e.g., Azure DevOps)

• Strong experience in Agile Software Development, with a track record of delivering high-quality software in iterative cycles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Secure Code Development

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks

• Experience with Azure Databricks, Datalakes & equivalent SQL database systems

• Scrum Leadership, experience and ability to mentor teams on Agile principles
