In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage and contribute to Quality Control related KPIs
- Work closely with the project team, regulatory bodies, customers and suppliers
- Be part of the site system project team and Global Sales
OPS QARA team:
- Manage critical product inspections against F&B standards and Pall requirements at Pall Suppliers
- Represent Pall during Suppliers & Customers QC Meetings (Kick-off meetings, pre-inspection meetings, QC product resolution meetings, products final release meetings etc.)
- Ensuring all QC activities are conducted as per the ITP, Quality Control Plan, Review and approve inspection reports, approve product release, ITP, Welding Book, Non-Destructive Examination/Test (NDE/NDT) Procedure, Post Weld Heat Treatment Procedure, Hardness Test Procedure, Heat Forming Procedure, Painting / Coating Procedure, Hydrostatic Test Procedure, Ferrite Testing Procedure, PMI Procedure, Material Certificates etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- B.E/B.Tech (Mech) with min. 2-3 yrs of experience or Diploma (Mech) with min. 5-7 yrs of experience.
- Minimum 3 years quality control experience at Fabricators delivering F&B Systems or Hardware or Capital Goods or Skids as per F&B industrial manufacturing standards or similar industrial experience
- Strong Knowledge with Food Contact Compliance & other regulations
- Experience of working with Quality Standards and tools
- Certification in Quality will be an added advantage
- Must be willing to travel up to 60%-80% of the time as per business need
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Welding (ASME, AWS, ISO)
- Regional or Global fabrication QC experience
