Reporting to the VP of Product Design, you'll be responsible for: Design & Craft - Design intuitive, functional interfaces that create real impact, keeping users at the heart of every decision - Own the entire product lifecycle: qualitative and quantitative research, ideation, prototyping, user testing, all the way through to production - Embrace a maker mindset: bring your ideas to life from day one. Prototype fast, test, iterate, and share to push design forward through experimentation - Leverage innovative tools, especially AI-powered ones, to accelerate exploration and expand the realm of possible solutions - Transform ideas into clear visual concepts: storyboards, user scenarios, wireframes, prototypes, and functional and design specs—all while maintaining the team's quality standards Collaboration & Delivery - Partner closely with the Design Lead to plan, prioritize, and coordinate design projects with autonomy - Collaborate tightly with Product, Tech, Data teams, and other stakeholders to ensure shared vision, coherent execution, and top-notch implementation quality - Communicate your design intent clearly and effectively—both verbally and in writing—through presentations, design reviews, and detailed deliverables Impact & Continuous Improvement - Proactively drive continuous improvement of the user experience, drawing on user feedback, data insights, and product goals ## Qualifications ✅ Must-haves - Extensive experience designing consumer products, content-driven platforms, internal tools, or AI-powered features, with a proven track record of shipping impactful solutions at scale and iterating based on real user insights. - Strong understanding of visual design, interaction design, and system-level thinking across web and mobile. - Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Data, and Engineering leadership to define and drive product direction. - Fluent in English: English is the primary language within the team, so strong communication skills are essential. - Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates excellence in craft, systems thinking, and the ability to turn complex problems into simple, elegant solutions. 🌱 Nice-to-haves - Fluency with modern prototyping tools & approaches (Figma, code-based prototyping, etc.) and examples of new AI-powered workflows you've adopted in your practice. - Experience in a startup/scale-up tech environment, ideally international. ⭐ What will make the difference - You thrive in ambiguity: Environments where everything isn't set in stone yet, where you need to build, test, iterate fast – that's where you excel. - You care about real impact: Designs that stay in Figma aren't your thing.
