We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI capabilities that drive measurable impact across our products and business. You'll work at the intersection of LLM application engineering, scalable backend services, and product execution, collaborating closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams. Responsibilities - Lead the design, development, and evolution of AI-powered features and platform capabilities from concept to production. - Design, ship, and operate production-grade agentic systems to tackle complex video platform challenges. - Architect and maintain APIs, data contracts, and shared libraries to ensure AI capabilities are reusable across teams. - Define and track critical metrics: task success rate, helpfulness, hallucination proxies, safety flags, latency, and cost. - Own end-to-end quality: offline evaluation, online experiments, monitoring, and iterative improvements on accuracy and performance. - Establish and enforce best practices for AI engineering: prompt/config versioning, reproducibility, testing strategies, and safe handling of sensitive data. - Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing. - Collaborate with Product, Data, Security, and ML stakeholders to define outcomes and ensure safe deployment. ## Qualifications Required Skills - 5+ years of software engineering experience (or 3+ years with a strong specialization in AI/ML production), ideally as an ML Engineer transitioning toward product or a Software Engineer with deep AI experience. - Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Golang or Python preferred). - Solid understanding of LLM application engineering: embeddings, RAG, prompt design, structured outputs, evaluation frameworks, and common failure modes. - Experience integrating model platforms (preferably Vertex AI) with production reliability patterns (timeouts, retries, fallbacks, rate limiting). - Strong engineering fundamentals: system design, testing (unit/integration), CI/CD, observability, and clean architecture. - Ability to independently drive solutions from ambiguous requirements to production delivery. Preferred Skills - Experience with retrieval systems (indexing, ranking, relevance tuning) and building ingestion pipelines for knowledge bases. - Familiarity with AI safety and compliance (moderation, PII detection, policy enforcement, auditability). - Experience optimizing distributed systems for performance and cost (caching, batching, concurrency). - Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate delivery without compromising quality. ## Additional Information Dailymotion is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
