We're seeking an exceptional VP of Engineering to lead our Studio engineering organization. Studio is the foundational platform powering all Dailymotion offerings—from our consumer and creator facing properties (Dailymotion.com, Dailymotion apps) to our enterprise solutions (Dailymotion For Business). This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the technical strategy that enables our entire product ecosystem.
What you’ll do :
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team of frontend and backend engineers
- Partner with Product leadership to deliver on ambitious roadmaps with velocity, agility, and uncompromising quality
- Lead the adoption of AI-driven development practices to accelerate time-to-market and maintain competitive advantage
- Champion technical debt reduction by building compelling, data-driven cases for infrastructure investments alongside feature development
- Use data and metrics as the foundation for technical decisions, prioritization, and team performance discussions
- Create an environment where engineers thrive, take ownership, and deliver their best work
- Build strong partnerships with engineering leaders across the company to ensure seamless platform integration
- Ensure reliable, scalable delivery of features and platform capabilities that support multiple product lines
- Balance speed of delivery with code quality, system reliability, and maintainability
- Drive engineering best practices including code review, testing, CI/CD, and operational excellence
## Qualifications
What we’re looking for
10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong technical foundation in both frontend and backend development
5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing teams of 10+ engineers
Expertise in modern web technologies, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with AI/ML tools and their application to software development workflows
Comfort with metrics, analytics, and using data to drive decisions and communicate impact
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Strong architectural thinking with experience designing scalable, distributed systems
Experience working in high-growth environments
Experience working in video platforms, content management systems, or media technology (preferred)
