Cushman & Wakefield Malaysia is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EHS Supervisor to join our team. As a EHS Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety on our construction sites. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe working environment, preventing accidents, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Job Description

Scope of Work:

• Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for site personnel, ensuring they are aware of safety procedures and best practices.
• Incident Management: Investigate and report on-site accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, safety audits, and training logs.
• Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize safety risks.
• Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with local safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring site personnel are prepared for potential emergencies.
• Safety Equipment: Monitor and maintain safety equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and readily available.
• Reporting: Prepare regular safety reports for senior management, highlighting safety performance, issues, and improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in site safety supervision, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
